Seems like a compromise to allow for armor parts without having peg holes all over Masotan. It does look nice on display, as long as you don't touch it. That's the biggest issue I have with this figure. Every time I go to adjust something, I accidentally bump off a piece of magnetized armor. It gets frustrating trying to align things again and again. Masotan is very expressive with 2 head types, as well as 3 eye options. GSC opted for swapped legs to pose in flight, instead of additional joints/hinges on the limbs, which does look better but I find they pop off too easily, just like the armor.
