When I saw initial pics of this at a show, I was hoping it would be a Nendoroid, instead of a model kit. This Nendoroid sized Gurren Lagann is quite cute, and is a nice piece to have along with Nendoroid Yoko, Simon, and Kamina. However, given the size of the head and torso, I think Good Smile could have also added some light blue pieces for the colors around the eyes, and some black and silver pieces inside the torso mouth. The build is quite simple, and the lack of color separation makes it feel somewhat inferior to even Bandai HG 1/144 Gundam kits.
