Compact and chunky classic robot with impressive weight and hand-feel. Articulation is limited to just arms and legs, and a (fake) waist swivel if you use the battery compartment access. Head does not move. The little Shotaro figure is not to scale but detailed nicely holding the remote. The paint finish is nice and bright, with some darkening airbrush around the joints and rivet details. This is the 4th(?) version of GX-24 to be released, after Standard, Metallic, and Naked (unpainted). All have light up LED eyes, but this newest R release also has a music and sound gimmick which is amusing.
It really looks like it walked out of the old anime from 1963.
