These kits are amusing due to the gimmick that you can build it 2 ways: traditional "SD", or slightly larger "CS" ala NXEDGE size. This RX-78-2 comes with both the SD and CS frame. When you're done, you're left with extra frame parts. The other SDCS kits do not include the CS frame, only the SD frame. So if you want to make it larger... you gotta buy another CS frame kit. Bandai, why not just make this a CS scale line? We already have a ton of SD kits out there made by... Bandai! Basically, you are paying 1/144 scale price for an in-between scale figure, and left over with extra frame parts each time.
