This is a reissue of SOC GX-13 from 2003 with a new coat of paint. There are a few new improvements, but overall the design of the figure shows its age, such as limited articulation, balance issues (it's back heavy), and plastic hip joints instead of diecast. Improvements include a re-sculpted non-transforming head, re-sculpted shoulder armor, new connectors for Gundor on the back of Big Moth. Dancouga feels nice in hand, at over 1kg in combined mode. It also looks impressive standing on any shelf at 26.5cm at top of the head. Despite the age of the design, and not quite up to par with the more recent SOC releases, this is still a highly coveted collector's item for mecha fans.
