I thought it'd be some type of glass, but it seems more like plastic to me. Still, that aside, it's so cute, and the art printed isn't on the surface so I don't have to worry so much about the images getting scratched or coming out. The lid is a mix of plastic and metal with a little rubber circle inside that can be removed for easier cleaning.

I made some honey, lemon, and mint water and the filter doesn't move unless you pull it out yourself, which is really nice. I was worried it'd come out when you tried to pour things out, but it didn't!
