I’m Daisuke Shimodaira. I’m a junk artist and modeler who was born in the Nagoya prefecture in 1986.　My expertise in using iron materials came from my grandfather, who was a blacksmith. I am also skilled in making use of other materials such as animal bones. While adopting a sci-fi like style, I represent a world that transcends the life and death of living things. When I was younger, I achieved awards in the “gt.moo Collection 08(gt.moogallery)” and “Niigata City Art Exhibition
Sculpture Division,” as well as presented the “Daisuke shimodaira (Sheep Art Gallery)” on my own. I have gained attention in TV and other media, as well as the world of fine arts.
