Sword Art Online Swords - Merchandise
Sword Art Online is an anime series that has grown hugely in popularity since it was first aired in 2012. Spin-offs, movies, and even games have also been created based on the original web light novel series published in 2002. The main series centers around characters trapped in a virtual reality game that are left to fend for themselves. Arcs further in the series also explore fantasy and gun games as well. However, the main protagonists, Kirito, Asuna, and their friends mostly use swords as their weapons of choice. Kirito also defied the norm and created the ‘dual wielder’ skill, meaning he can fight with two swords at once. These swords have very cool and intricate designs, and many fans enjoy watching the breathtaking fighting scenes. Being able to sword fight with the same skill as Kirito or Asuna would truly be a feat, but even owning the swords they use is a dream for many fans. In addition to a variety of merchandise, life-size replicas of their swords can be used for cosplays or as eye-catching decorations. The smaller-scale versions of Sword Art Online swords also make great collectibles and are striking to show off.

Sword Art Online Metal Weapon Collection Vol. 01: Elucidator
The Elucidator sword is Kirito’s main weapon of choice during Season 1 of Sword Art Online and is one of the two swords he dual-wields. The sword was dropped during a boss fight in the game and is extremely powerful. In fact, it is one of the most powerful weapons of the entire game and has an easily recognizable design. The sword itself is made of a pitch black chrome material, with silver trim on each side. In this collection, it has been made of an alloy and black chrome mix. Its design and dimensions have been faithfully recreated for this collection, as the main sword being a long broad blade. The hilt connects to the handguard, which has two wing-like appendages. The hilt and guard are connected on one side.
This beautiful sword comes in a black box that is gilded in gold. The name of the sword and title of the series is also written in golden calligraphy. A small leaflet explains the weapon’s data, so any fan can know how it is used to fight.

Sword Art Online Metal Weapon Collection Vol. 02: Dark Repulser
The Dark Repulser sword was even more difficult to obtain than the Elucidator. Kirito received the Elucidator after it was dropped after a boss fight on floor 50. In comparison, the Dark Repulser previously belonged to Heathcliff, the strongest player and the creator of the game. Eventually, Kirito took his sword on floor 75. This recreation of the sword includes all of its details, making it very special. The sword isn’t a consistent width throughout, as it has an arrowhead-shaped blade that ends in a sharp point. The hilt connects to a wide handguard, which resembles two diamond shapes on each side. Below the handguard, the blade arches and slims, dropping into two formidable points before widening out again. Its sides are trimmed, and a design is placed into the center of the blade just below the hilt. At the top of the hilt, there is a small gem.
The sword has also been cast in an alloy and black chrome mix, making it very shiny, but not too heavy. It also comes in a gorgeous gold gilded box, with information about the weapon included.

Sword Art Online Metal Weapon Collection
This collection is made up of three Sword Art Online swords: the Blue Rose sword, the Night Sky sword, and the Fragrant Olive sword. Each sword is cast in zinc alloy and plated with rhodium, giving them a beautiful dark chrome sheen. Each sword has also been faithfully recreated and detailed.
The Blue Rose sword has a lovely rose at the center of its handguard, with criss-cross details on the hilt and etched detailing in the blade, which is long and pointed. The Night Sky sword’s blade slims to end in a rounded point. The hilt is plain and the handguard a simple, but eloquent design that flowers outward. The Fragrant Olive sword has the most detailing of all, especially on the hilt. Its beautiful cross and diamond designs have been etched into the hilt and handguard, as well as the blade itself. It is almost reminiscent of stained glass windows and gives off a knightly, noble feel. The blade is also unique, as it isn’t flat, but raised and pointed. The swords can be collected together in a set, or purchased separately. Weapon data for the swords is also included.
