I'm a great believer in holistic medicine and see it as an imperative to treat a person's whole body along with their social and mental wellbeing. It's important to maintain psychological, emotional and physical health to promote harmony in our lives. Although holistic treatment does include drugs or other prescribed medication sometimes, the key is that for any disease or medical issue a cure isn't simply being found in the drug itself but rather in the overall picture of sustained lifestyle changes that afford the opportunity to heal naturally over time. In this way we can really feel good about the progress we're making towards sustaining great health without needing to rely on drugs all of the time like many peddle as an easy solution for us when all other avenues have failed.
