    This is Hades, the ruler of the underworld in Greek mythology. Hearing “underworld” bears the image of a place of darkness and solitude, but I drew this in the image that Hades and the residents of the underworld actually enjoy their lives in their own way.

    What are you particular about in your work?

    Before drawing an illustration, I’ll think about the design motif, come up with points I think will be interesting, and create gimmicks to make the illustration one the viewer will look at for a long time.

    How long does your work take to create?

    It depends on the composition and complexity of the motif, but generally around 10-20 days.

    When do you come up with ideas for your work?

    When I’m listening to music, reading a book, when I go to an art museum to get a feel for and be inspired by works by great artists, etc. There are many times.
