Divine Objects (ディヴァイン・オブジェクト divain obujekuto or 神器 jinki) are high-Priority items in Underworld that are usually made using a Sacred Arts ritual by converting any object with a large amount of resources (memories). The Divine-Object weapons of Priority-class are ranked higher than the highest-grade weapon material, dragon bones. These weapons require the wielder's soul to resonate with the weapon's memories.

Divine Objects have a hidden potential that can be unleashed using the Sacred Arts ritual called Perfect Weapon Control Art that requires high System Control Priority and can be dangerous for the user in its second stage.

In general, most Divine Objects originate from the Axiom Church. They tend to be weapons for use by the Integrity Knights. Non-weapon Divine Objects exist as well, and are meant for use by the low-ranked users for some "magical" tasks that would otherwise require high-priority Sacred Arts rituals.

Background

In order to create objects of a certain priority, something of equal existence to the desired object must be sacrificed. All Divine Objects are thus made of the animals, plants, or items that had collected a lot of resources to their sake, having accumulated enough priority that way. The weapons inherit the parameters (memories) of the base object, so the "true" boosted parameters are hidden within each, and can be activated with Perfect Weapon Control Arts.

|Bells of Time Telling | 時告げの鐘 tokitsuge no kane | Settlements | One of the most widespread Divine Objects in Underworld. Every settlement has at least one, and Centoria has multiple. The bells chime every half hour, and play each of the twelve verses of the hymn By the Light of Solus each hour in order. The true purpose of the bells is yet another way for the Axiom Church to keep the locals from traveling, since it can only be heard in the vicinity of the settlement, evoking a feeling of eerie silence otherwise.|
