Synopsis

One day, Nowa, a bear living in the forest, comes across a stray puppy. He names him Airi and decides to raise and care for him. Although at a loss as to how to raise a child, Airi grows up to be obedient and gentle, and the two live happily together. But Nowa has a certain problem: he can’t wean himself off of Airi, even though it’s almost hibernation time! A healing BL with animal-eared characters begins!

Background

Caressing the Nipples of My Hibernating Bear started as a boys’ love manga by Haruchika that is currently in serialization and is being published in collected tankobon volumes under the BL Screamo imprint. The manga is also being released digitally in English via the Coolmic website.

A TV anime adaptation is being produced by Studio Hokiboshi and features Kazuomi Koga as director, with Shinobi Kato handling scripts, Kinji Onizawa handling character designs, and Asuka Hayashi and Izumi Yamanaka as chief animation directors. The anime’s theme song is “Tsunaida Te to Nukumori to” by Kohei Amasaki and Kazuyuki Okitsu as their respective characters. Similarly to other AnimeFesta anime, there will be a censored on-air version and an uncensored premium version, each of which has a different cast. The on-air version will premiere in Japan on July 3, 2022 on Tokyo MX and BS11, while the premium version will be streamed on demand ahead of the broadcast version.

Weight: 46 kg
Ko is a viverrid and a good older brother who takes care of others and is relied upon by those around him. He has a bit of a bad mouth and also has a dishonest side.

Watari is a raven who is taciturn and goes at their own pace. He has no sense of direction and often gets lost. He loves Ko.
