It has been announced that pre-orders for Part 2 of a series of collaboration PC glasses between Kuroko’s Basketball and Jins PC called “Kuroko’s Basketball x Bandai x Jins PC” (5,292 yen, tax included, shipping & handling separate) will begin on Bandai’s official shopping site, Premium Bandai, on Monday, Jan. 19 at 11:00 a.m. (JST). As a bonus for buyers, the glasses come with an exclusively illustrated plate showing the characters wearing the glasses as well as a deluxe glasses stand.
■ Product Highlights
Part 2 of this collaboration between the anime Kuroko’s Basketball, based on the original manga of the same name, and Jins PC, a PC glasses brand that has sold more than 4 million glasses (as of May 2014), features designs themed after each character.
The lineup includes seven characters: Seirin High’s Tetsuya Kuroko and his teammate Taiga Kagami, Kaijo High’s Ryota Kise, Shutoku High’s Shintaro Midorima, Too Academy’s Daiki Aomine, Yosen High’s Atsushi Murasakibara, and Rakuzan High’s Seijuro Akashi. Each character is surrounded by a frame in his own character color.
The Shintaro Midorima model is an under-rim type that looks just like that glasses worn by the character. The temple portion of the glasses also includes a metal part showing that character’s jersey number. These unisex glasses are great for an office or casual look, are versatile for any situation, and bring fans into the world of their favorite characters.
