“KuroBas Festival: KuroFes in J-World Tokyo” will open on Wednesday, Jan. 14 at Jump World Tokyo, a theme park located in Ikebukuro Sunshine that focuses mainly on Jump works. The event is themed after the series Kuroko’s Basketball serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. It will focus primarily on the third season of the anime that began airing this month.

Kuroko’s Basketball was created by author Tadatoshi Fujimaki and was serialized beginning in 2009. The series has since concluded, with 30 volumes published in total. On the other hand, a sequel titled Kuroko’s Basketball: Extra Game began serialization in Shonen Jump Next!! in December 2014, and this has become a huge topic. With the start of the third season of the anime this month as well, this series is as popular as ever.

An event called “AkaFes” was previously held at J-World in December 2014. This event focused on Seijuro Akashi who ranked No. 1 in the series’ third popularity poll.

This time, the event is “KuroFes” and it focuses on main character Tetsuya Kuroko and the third season of the anime. At the event will be exclusive food items, goods with exclusive artwork, life-size character panels, voice recordings done just for the event, and more to enjoy.

At the mini attraction “Manager’s Job” in the Kuroko’s Basketball area are original gifts to commemorate Kuro Fes. This attraction will be open until Tuesday, Feb. 3. Also, a campaign will be held to give away life-size character panels in a raffle. One raffle ticket will be given to guests each time they go through the mini attraction.

A special talk with Kensho Ono, the voice of Tetsuya Kuroko, has also been confirmed for Wednesday, Feb. 25. Tickets to attend the talk will be given out via raffle. Guests can get a raffle ticket by purchasing and using three tickets to the mini game Miracle Bingo located in J-Carnival inside J-World.

Furthermore, deluxe Kuroko Tetsuya postcards are being given away in the J-World Store for every 1,000 yen spent. This is an irresistible event for fans of Kuroko’s Basketball. KuroBas Festival will be open until Tuesday, April 7.
