No matter how I investigate, I still don't understand you! I tried to draw the mental state of such a girl.

She is a personified cherry tree. I drew her as she was scattering, saying, "See you next year!"

About Me

Piyona

Illustrator / Japan

When drawing, I always keep in mind that I want to draw heart-moving pictures.
I don’t mind even commonplace emotions such as “cute” or “so pretty!” as long the people who look at my work have some nice thoughts, I think it’s lovely.

Most of my commercial illustrations are related to children’s magazines or books, but I want to work in many different fields in the future.

    Q&A

When do you come up with ideas for your works?

Mostly when I go on a trip or when I'm listening to music. This is because I find that expanding my impressions by looking at sceneries different from the usual and listening to music provides good stimuli for coming up with ideas. For that reason, I actively travel or go shopping when I have the time.
