Moss phlox blooms around April to May in Japan. I was inspired to do this illustration after seeing all the beautiful moss phlox both in my hometown of Saitama as well as where I have gone travelling to. Because moss phlox grows on soil, I have chosen to present a girl lying down surrounded by the vivid colors of the flowers.

Angels usually seem kind and gentle, but I drew this angel with a tinge of fear for something. In the background is a sinister gate, in the foreground a beautifully poised angel. This work is all about the contrast between terror and beauty.

This work is focused on drawing out the beauty of women. I hope that viewers will see not only the beautiful appearance, but feel also a strange, devilish aura around her.

I tend to draw fluffly dresses like this one.
She is full of sweet cuteness.

I don't usually do fan art, but I decided to do this because I really like Hatsune Miku. The point of this piece was to express Hatsune Miku in my own way. I love her floppy, long ponytails!

About Illustrating

I do all of my illustrations, including the sketches, on my tablet.
For rendering images, I usually use my laptop.

The software I use most is Adobe Photoshop CS3.

Starting from rough sketches, a complete illustration takes me about:
- People Only: 1-2 days
- Background Only: 1-2 days
- Background and People: 2-3 days
(depending on the content)

I believe that I am the only one who can draw the way I do, and I put my sentiments and personality into every piece that I create.
