自身の作風を「kiotangl」と名付け
​白黒爛漫な世界観を描き続けている。

近寄ったり、遠ざかったり、見つけてハっとしたり。
そんなふうに人のココロを動かせるような絵を描いていきたいです。

すべての作品へのメインコンセプトとして、
余計な先入観を与えないため、あえてコンセプトはふせています。

人それぞれ感じ方や考え方が違う、ということを絵を通して伝えたいです。

    Q&A

    What made you start drawing?

    I had too much free time during my junior high classes (I know it’s bad, though. *laughs*) so I tried making scribbles.

    A certain teacher saw those drawings, and without even scolding me, just asked, “Are you entering it in a contest?” and told me various things about illustration-related jobs.

    Although at that time I was absorbed in my club activities (soft tennis),
    that faint objective when I realized that such jobs exist was my motive. *laughs*

    What are your fixations?

    That there are no flaws that stand out even when looked at closely.

    Also, concept is very important, too, but I value the enjoyment of drawing more than anything.

    How long does it take to draw your work?

    In A4, it doesn’t even take a day when I’m in the mood *laughs*.

    Lately, I’ve started live broadcasts on Niconico Douga, and when I draw live, sometimes I get lost in talking and my pen stops moving, but even in such cases it translates to around three days, maybe?

    When do you come up with ideas for your work?

    At unexpected moments. I think most people are the same.

    When I’m sitting on the toilet giving it my all (laughs), when I’m washing my hair during a bath, or when I hear a song I like and start humming it… And when I'm drawing pictures.

    Ideas pop out in all kinds of situations, but I try not to take notes.

    Because if I really want to draw something, I won’t forget it. (reasoning with herself)
