On June 7, 2014 in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, a new event was launched. That event is Ikebukuro Cinemachi Festival, which aims to fuse anime and the city. One of the things that fired up Ikebukuro Cinemachi Festival, which focused on stage events and screening anime films, was a talk show for the TV anime Dramatical Murder that was held at 5:00 p.m. Atsushi Kisaichi and Ryota Takeuchi, two members of the cast of this talked-about work, the broadcast to which will begin in July, relayed to fans new information and talked about their thoughts on the series. Even though it was unfortunately raining on the day of the event, many fans visited and the area was alive with passion.
Atsushi Kisaichi, who went on stage, plays main character Aoba in Dramatical Murder. Aoba is a young man with a part-time job at a junk shop, but he gets dragged into a virtual reality online game called Rhyme. Ryota Takeuchi plays Ren, Aoba’s partner and All Mate. These fresh two succeeded in having a pleasant talk on stage, and they received huge cheers from the crowd.
Regarding Dramatical Murder, Kisaichi and Takeuchi explained the technical terms and world of the series while showing pictures of the anime. Other topics that flew up included their impressions of each of the characters, what each of them thought, and what the postrecording was like. A highlight was the screening of a new promotional video. At about 2 minutes in length, it is packed quite tightly with the charms of the series. Included are battle scenes of the online game Rhyme and plenty else to anticipate what the anime has in store.
Following this was the announcement of new news. This was regarding the TV broadcast. The broadcast will begin on TV Tokyo at 1:35 a.m. on July 6. It will then broadcast on TV Osaka, TV Aichi, and AT-X. Also, continuing on from the game, Goatbed will be in charge of the opening and ending themes. The opening theme “Slip on the Pumps” will release on Aug. 20. Packed with even more new information, it was an event at which you could feel that the anime Dramatical Murder is finally coming alive in preparation for the July broadcast.
