Gochūmon wa Usagi Desu ka?, a new TV anime that began airing in April, is currently collaborating with the private library cafe Schatzkiste until May 31 in Akihabara, Tokyo. The interior of the cafe is currently themed after the show. A special menu has been prepared and there are even bonus coasters for customers. Various displays have also been set up around the cafe.
The special menu features items such as “Cocoa Deluxe Tippy Bread,” "Chino-chan’s Fluffy Cappuccino,” and “Rize-senpai’s thé Des Alizés.” Similarly to the show, the items on the menu are cute and delicious. Those who order from the menu will also receive a coaster as a present. The coasters being given out from May 8-17 are Cocoa, Rize, Chiya, and Sharo, and from May 18-31 are Chino, Maya, Megumi, and Aoyama Blue Mountain. In total, there are eight coasters to collect.
An exhibit has also been set up inside the cafe that features illustrations by series creator Koi and scripts signed by the voice cast. There is also a collection of anime production materials and fine art boards that have been put into files, so you can take your time and enjoy them while drinking a tea or other beverage. In addition to this, there are limited goods including fluffy cafe straps and advance goods including acrylic keyholders and iPhone cases for sale in the cafe.
Many other events are also in the works for Gochūmon wa Usagi Desu ka?. This includes Ayane Sakura, the voice of Cocoa, and other members of the voice cast participating in the event Manga Time Kirara Festa to be held on June 22. An independent event will also be held in the city on Sept. 7. The entire cast will perform at this event, which will likely cause big headlines. The first and second volumes of the Blu-ray and DVD will also release on June 20 and July 24, respectively. The Blu-ray will cost 6,000 yen and the DVD 5,000 yen (Both prices exclude tax.).
