The event “Gochūmon wa Usagi Desu ka? × Nazomate” will be held in the Hulic Hall in Asakusabashi from May 2-5. Gochūmon wa Usagi Desu ka? is a popular manga by Koi that is currently serialized in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Max. Beginning this April, the TV anime adaptation of the series will begin broadcasting. Now, the series is collaborating with the real mystery event Nazomate.
Main character Cocoa stumbles upon a rabbit house cafe while searching for her boarding house. There, she finds a small girl named Chino and a rabbit named Tippy. She also finds out that the rabbit house is the boarding house she was looking for. Having just entered high school and being obligated to help out at her boarding house, she ends up starting to work at the rabbit house. There, the enjoyable everyday lives of these girls are depicted.
The tagline of “Gochūmon wa Usagi Desu ka? × Nazomate” is “Solve the riddle along with Cocoa and the others and create coffee of memories!” Participants have a time limit of 60 minutes in which to solve the riddle of the recipe using only codes. Those who solve it will receive one of five commemorative, specially drawn playing-card-style cards as a present. Those who aren’t able to solve it don’t have to worry, they will also be given a prize: a specially drawn shiny postcard.
The event will be held four times daily at 11:00, 13:30, 16:00, and 18:30. Advance tickets cost ￥3,000 and tickets at the door cost ￥3,300. Tickets that come with commemorative goods are also available. Commemorative products that make use of specially drawn illustrations will also be sold at the event. Members of the anime cast are even scheduled to attend, so fans will want to get their tickets early.
