Anime "Samurai Flamenco" to Take Prime-Time Spot on Fuji TV in October

NoitaminA (animation spelled backwards) is a prime-time, late-night slot for high-quality anime on Fuji TV well known among fans. The previous anime that took that spot, Anohana, became so popular that it is slated for a film version, while Silver Spoon, the anime currently airing during that time, was one of the biggest hit manga in 2012.

The next work to take the noitaminA spot will be Samurai Flamenco this October. The director for this anime is Takahiro Omori of Natsume's Book of Friends and Durarara!! fame. The character designer is Chinatsu Kurahana who also designed for the UtaPri series. Both works are popular games and anime geared toward women, so fans can look forward to handsome male characters in Samurai Flamenco as well.

Drama, comedy, and justice! This is a story about the heroes of summer born out of the difficulties and meaning of "being the allies of justice" in this world. More information about the series will be released later this month, so please look forward to it!
