On Oct. 17, Pokémon XY, the latest work of the Pokémon TV series, will begin broadcasting just a short time after the highly anticipated Pokémon games release on Oct. 12. Fans can hope for linked projects and development between these works in the future.
As expected, Ash will return as the main character. Together with Pikachu, he will visit the heart of Kalos, Lumiose City. As Ash encounters Pokémon not yet seen before and tries his best at battling the Kalos League, a new adventure will unfold.
Together with the announcement of the new series, new visuals were released featuring Ash and Pikachu, as well as the notable new starter Pokémon Froakie, Fennekin, and Chespin. There is no mistake that fans can’t wait to see how these Pokémon will behave in the series.
The Pokémon anime TV series began in April of 1997 and has since been well-loved by fans. Now, as fans say sayonara to the latest TV anime series Pokémon Best Wishes, they can look forward to Pokémon XY, the fifth series of the Pokémon anime and the newest series in three years.
