Yukari is so amazing that she could create her own Yukari Kingdom and appoint herself as its princess!
She's been a singer since 1997, and this song marks her 18th single release. Not only has she released many CDs, but her prolific work as a voice actress is diverse and extensive. She's even voiced multiple characters (as many as four) within a single anime series. What talent!
Many of Yukari's songs make for exciting live performances. They lend themselves to Otagei dancing, feature call and response parts, and, of course, her adorable voice that just drives us all crazy! This latest single is the opening song for the anime B Gata H Kei Yamada's First Time. On top of that, Yukari also wrote the anime's ending song and provided the voice of the main character; talk about a busy lady! This song does not have a quick tempo, but the rhythmic katakana lyrical parts like, "Dame dame," "Muchuu?" "Dokitto ne," and "Tokimeki" are very memorable and prone to get stuck in your head. I think that this piece as a whole really showcases the quality of Yukari's songwriting.
