This is another song that's become legendary. Every month, the group of girls that sings this opening song changes. Including the version that has everyone in it, there are seven versions in total. It's quite an interesting format! It's the first opening that changed every month, and the girls are grouped according to their seat numbers in class in the anime. When the song topped the charts, it was a historical moment. From then on, anime songs began to move their way up the pop music charts. It was a time when people began seeing anime songs differently in the pop music genre.
This song is still regularly covered by young singers at various events and played by DJs. As to which version is played, it's completely up to each DJ's sense. (laughs) Even till now, the person who sings the ending theme changes every week. I like that a lot. Especially when my favorite girl gets her solo! As a DJ, having to keep track of so many sound sources is troublesome, but because I love anime songs, it becomes fun. Moreover, the different arrangements of the tracks are great, too!
