The Dream Comes True! Vocaloid Fan Holds One-man “Mikupa”

“Mikupa” is short for “Hatsune Miku Live Party.” The event is well known by many fans and features the electronic princess Hatsune Miku performing on a real stage. Now, a one-man “Mikupa” was held and uploaded to Nico Nico Geijutsubu. It was even held in a concert hall!

Aome is a man who wanted to challenge himself by holding his own “Mikupa.” By utilizing a POLID screen and a projector, he did just that.

Reserving the 300-seat Tokyo Electron Nirasaki Cultural Hall and using materials widely available on the market, Aome made his dream of holding his own “Mikupa” a reality. Aome’s cost to realize his dream was roughly 9,000 dollars for materials including the projector and roughly 160 dollars for the venue. According to Aome, “We’ve reached the point where we don’t need businesses or organizations to hold “Mikupa.” Anyone can do it themselves. Why don’t you give it a try too?”
