Guest Voice Actresses Announced for “Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods”

Guest voice actresses for the anime movie Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, which will be released on Mar. 30, 2013, have been announced. Guest voice actresses are those who are invited to perform in a work even though they are not professional voice actresses. For Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, two guest voice actresses have been confirmed.

The first is the popular and talented Shoko Nakagawa. Nakagawa is well versed in the subculture of anime and has an abundance of knowledge on anime works. She is also known for being a passionate fan of Dragon Ball, which is the main reason why she was chosen to be a guest voice actress for the movie.

Next up is gold medalist Kaoru Matsumoto. Matsumoto won the gold medal in the under 57 kilogram class in women’s judo at the London Olympics. She rose to instant fame in Japan and is known for her expression of determination just before a match. She was chosen as a guest voice actress because her fighting spirit perfectly matches the world of Dragon Ball.

Nakagawa will be voicing the character Oracle Fish and Matsumoto will be voicing a female police officer who appears in a party scene. It seems that the police officer is also being made to resemble Matsumoto. Look forward to these two guests’ passionate performances in Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods.
