[J-Fashion] LIZ LISA Autumn/Winter 2015: Meet the New Collection!

Welcome back to our Japanese fashion blog! We are so honored to be able to take you on a special tour of LIZ LISA’s Autumn/Winter 2015 collection. We have just added a ton of new LIZ LISA summer items, and we look forward to carrying these amazing new fall and winter looks when they become available a little later in the year!

The first thing we saw when we stepped into the LIZ LISA Autumn/Winter exhibition was this beautiful rose design. It’s one of their new custom patterns, as seen in the lovely dress at right.

Although we were super excited to take a sneak peek at LIZ LISA’s clothing, we got totally distracted by all their new shoes! The little bunny ears on these sneakers can be bent to any angle you like.

So much love for the ladylike rows of pearls on the soft pink and beige booties in the front row!

As beautifully detailed as all of these shoes are, their sweet yet neutral colors will allow them to match a wide range of LIZ LISA garments.

We saw a vast variety of items incorporating soft, cuddly faux fur in pastel shades of lavender and pink.

Just like the sneakers from earlier in this article, these adorable faux fur backpacks have their very own bunny ears!

Have you ever seen shoes that come with a fluffy tail? The bunny tails are detachable, so you can decide on the spur of the moment whether or not you want to wear them on any given day.

The bunny theme continues with a series of devastatingly cute smartphone cases, which include a convenient inner mirror so that you can discreetly check your appearance and your email at the same time!

As you’ll see in the next few images, wine red (often called Bordeaux) is returning as one of the perenially trendy colors for fall and winter.

Did you notice the subtle hearts adorning these handbags?

These classy booties go so well with delicate lace-trimmed socks.

The staff at the exhibition explained to us that LIZ LISA is all about adding a unique, special touch to every single design they create. Even classic shapes will contain subtle elements that make the piece give off that quintessential LIZ LISA vibe--such as scalloped edges and hints of lace and ribbons.

One fun part about fashion exhibitions is seeing how they decide to arrange and present the items. Sometimes it can feel like visiting an art gallery!

Take a look at this picture, and you’ll probably be able to guess at another major theme of LIZ LISA’s fall and winter collection.

That’s right--ballet motifs can be seen in many new items, ranging from accessories to dresses.

These velvet platform shoes are laced in a style meant to remind you of ballet slippers. And did you spot the swans adorning the berets on the left side of the photo? Keep an eye out for more design elements referencing Swan Lake and other famous ballets.

At first glance, it looks like a pretty, abstract ribbon pattern. But come closer, and you can see that the hem of this gauzy dress is embroidered with ballet slippers.

These incredibly soft mittens come with a long strand of pearls that you can hang around your neck to keep them close at hand!

LIZ LISA won’t let you be cold this winter.

These over-the-knee boots are a perfect example of how LIZ LISA gracefully puts their own spin on popular styles.

They are just as spectacular from behind!

The jacket, dress, bag, and necklace come together to create a look that is sporty and casual, yet ethereal and feminine at the same time.

Winter isn’t so bad if it means being able to dress like this!
