legion soldier

I’m happy that Gamera 2015 was just announced the other day.
I tried making a Legion soldier that appears in the 1996 film “Gamera 2: Attack of Legion” as a cosplaying cat. I wanted to name it Legion Solnya, but I wonder if it would translate over okay?
(Translation Note: Solnya is a play on the words “soldier” and “nya,” the Japanese equivalent of “meow”)
