In celebration of TOM’s 5th anniversary, we’re releasing our first hoodie for fans. A large TOM logo in the design of a Japanese family crest appears on the back, and on the chest are five stars resembling *shuriken* (ninja stars). The right shoulder features the kanji for “5” and “teamwork,” which express the fact that TOM and fans everywhere are comrades in trying to make a world where everyone can enjoy what they like to the fullest. Throw on this hoodie at home or at events and enjoy your otaku life!

“It’s now we need companies in Japan that are dedicated to sharing news and information globally.” When I hear that, I always feel like “now” is a huge understatement.
I’m frankly proud, and look up to Tokyo Otaku Mode, who had already started doing it way before people started telling me that it needed to be done.
For some reason, it’s been a trend in history that we Japanese readily accept popular culture from overseas, but have trouble sharing our own back.
I’d like to destroy this inferiority complex by honestly presenting our reality as is, little by little.
Although I can only do so much, I’d like to help by giving it my all.

今まさに日本ではきちんとした日本の情報を海外に伝えることが必要とされています。「そんなこと今更言わないでよ」って思う僕はそんなこと言われる前からきちんと日本を海外に伝えていた「Tokyo Otaku Mode」を素直に凄いと思うし、誇らしく思います。
なぜだか日本人、海外で受けてることはすんなり受け入れるくせに日本で受けてることは素直に海外に紹介できないって歴史があるけど、そういう負け犬根性的な意識をきちんとした事実を見せつけながらバンバン壊していきましょう。
微力ながら、僕も100パーセントの力を出して協力させてほしいと思っています。
