Freelance illustrator. I'm from Niigata Prefecture and I graduated from a specialty illustration school. I've been working as an illustrator since 2009. I draw cute, girly illustrations by using Bezier curves. I do work for the web and other publication mediums. I’m also a boy who, like most young girls, is in search of "cuteness."

In this work, I expressed my personal impression of a girl's world view. These girls are having a carefree, fun, and lively time, living the feeling of being in a playroom as a child.

A Halloween-esque spider personified as a girl. Many are scared of spiders because of their appearance. However, she's actually a useful insect and there's something adorable about the way she winds up thread. I want you to notice her cuteness! I drew this illustration considering the line between scariness and cuteness.

All of my illustrations are drawn in Illustrator using a graphic technique called Bezier. Though this way of drawing is quite eccentric, many people become obsessed with it. This is the cover illustration of a fan magazine that I made for such people who love Bezier.
I hope you enjoy your Bezier deliciously!

    Creator Interview

    What are your "fetishes"?

I like legs and guitars. I particularly like it when a guitar has F-holes in it.

What are you picky about when you draw?

In order to make my pictures give the viewer a relaxed feeling, I try not to be too tense myself when painting. I also do not use use angular lines, loud colors, and so on.

Why do you use Illustrator (software)?

Because it matches my character as someone diligent and particular about the details.
However, I do think its strange how my illustrations are very "fluffy" even though illustrator tends to be oriented toward "harder" images. In this way I think it resembles myself as a man who tends to seek out more girly things. Lastly, I feel there is a kind of "romance" in the Bezier graphic technique.
