Explosive Batter Extreme Truck

I drew this card illustration for “Duel Masters” (http://dm.takaratomy.co.jp) released by Takara Tomy.

■ I was requested to make a home run pose, and though it didn’t turn out well on the canvas, I am satisfied with how it turned out. The bat is configured with nails, but because he has fire attributes I made sure to bring out the batter-like flames. Because of the Japanese-style, baseball-uniform-like equipment, I designed him in the image of a catcher wearing protective gear.
