The sakura season is short. The chance to meet Sakura Miku is also indeed short. I wanted to draw an illustration that conveyed a feeling of longing to meet her again next year.

    Creator Interview

Q: How did you get into drawing?

A: It started a long time ago. My sister, who I was close to, was really good at drawing and I thought “I want to try it too!” and drew InuYasha.

Q: What are you particular about in your work?

A: I want to depict an atmosphere. I want to draw something that is cuter than cute!

Q: How long does it take to create an illustration?

A: It takes anywhere from 5-20 hours or so. It changes quite a bit depending on if there is a background or not.

Q: How do you come up with the ideas for your work?

A: They come to me in the bath. When I am warm, they sometimes suddenly surface. I love taking baths.
