19 Chocolate Danish and Coffee

In Japanese cities, and especially around train stations, the various coffee chains are crowded with people turning up to drink coffee, in the morning with salary men on their way to work and in the early afternoon with illustrators, not sure what to do with their illustrations (Macbook in hand).
Unfortunately donuts, the best things to have with coffee, aren’t often sold there. They usually end up buying the chocolate danishes lined up by the register.
“Well, this goes well enough with coffee…” “Well, swimsuits go well enough with coffee…” It’s alright to take these in hand with those lukewarm feelings.
Because here, coffee is something to casually nestle up with in life.
