Under the complete supervision of Katsumi Sakakura, an artist who gave a stunning performance at the Rugby World Cup opening ceremony and who even now is working to fuse traditional Japanese beauty with modern cultures around the world, a completely new fashionable art has been born from combining traditional Japanese beauty with functional beauty through repeated sample production.

This is the ultimate Tech Coat, somewhere in between the rationality of Zastava and the conceptual beauty of Mateba.

In order to create new fashionable art that has never been seen before, we constructed the coat from a total of 74 parts, an unthinkable number in the clothing world.

The buckle has a built-in magnet with an automatic attachment function, and the button hook is made by German buckle manufacturer FIDLOCK, who supplies buckles for famous bag brands including TIMBUK2 and ORTLIEB as well as ABUS helmet buckles.

From the joints and arms to the torso, the coat itself is designed for a variety of modern day movements and planned down to each detail to be able to fit in any environment. The tech bag is perfect for the coat and is augmentable and made to preserve functionality even down to the bag-in-bag.

The hood also has a magnet that attaches to a buckle and is detachable, allowing it to be adjusted for a variety of environments and circumstances, from hooded to not hooded, or with the bag on or off.

With the highest quality fabric as the base, the coat is waterproof, sweatproof, and cold-resistant. With the deep beauty of Japan Blue, the coat has a bewitching indigo color that embodies the worldview of the series.

Behind the Japanese armor-like design, the coat features a practical yet innovative design that is waterproof to protect against rain while being highly sweatproof to wick away water vapor and moisture for active modern people who are always on the go.

In addition, the fabric itself is made of a special material with stretchability, so you can continue wearing it while making use of its elasticity for a variety of movements.

The color of the dark indigo fabric is true Japan Blue, which expresses the pride of Japanese manufacturing and is created by repeatedly processing the original fabric.

The Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 logo is reflective and lights up from car headlights or a flashlight, improving brand appearance.

A three-layer film is crimped to the back side of the nylon material. The film has high-spec functionality, and since it has innumerable holes that are smaller than water and larger than water vapor, it meets the standard rating of 3,000mm for breathability and 10,000mm for waterproofing to protect against water penetration while not hindering sweat diffusion.

The specifications of the stitching are also different from usual clothes, and a waterproof tape is attached to the back of the stitching to prevent water penetration for maximum defense while still being functional art.

A zipper with a waterproof coating is furnished on the outside and inside, while the large backpack is separate and allows for smooth loading and unloading.

KATSUMI SAKAKURA
Born in 1963 in Nagoya, Japan. He is an artist who expresses the unique “movement, rhythm, and spirituality” of traditional Japanese culture as a comprehensive art form.

He began learning karate from his father at the age of 5, and began studying karate seriously at a dojo from the age of 10. He later switched to boxing while in university.

In his early 20s, he became obsessed with hip hop culture and began imitating black people. When a famous black dancer urged him, saying, “Why are you imitating other people’s culture when there is so much cool culture in Japan?”, he began to pursue the coolness of Japan.

After much trial and error, he perfected an original dance style based on the way the body is used and the way sounds are captured in traditional Japanese culture. He also invented “Street Nunchaku,” a dance performance using nunchaku (an Okinawan kobudo self-defense tool), which he learned at the same time as karate.

In 2004, he invented “Project Live,” a performance style that synchronizes live performances with projected images, and presented it at Japan Expo 2004 in L.A.

Since then, his style has been highly acclaimed around the world, and he has been invited to perform in 40 countries as well as has appeared on TV programs in 19 countries. He has also given lectures both in Japan and abroad on the subject of “The coolness of Japan that I want to tell the world about.”

In 2019, he gave a solo performance for the opening ceremony of the Rugby World Cup 2019 held in Japan.

In 2015, he gave the opening performance at the 128th General Assembly of the International Olympic Committee in Kuala Lumpur.

He is also a designer who designs and produces most of the costumes for his performances as well as his personal clothes, from glasses to coats.

Masaya Ichi (ANIMAREAL)
The CEO of ANIMAREAL. A graphic artist. Began painting at the age of 3 and oil painting at the age of 6.

After graduating from Kyoto University of the Arts, he studied abroad at London Central Saint Martins. While attending school there, he became completely absorbed with Photoshop after getting his hands on a Mac.

Currently, he creates official art themed after many manga and anime. He is a member of UUUM while also working as a lecturer at Kyoto University of the Arts and Osaka Seikei University.
