Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun to Get Sequel!

Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun is getting a sequel anime!

While details on the release are yet to come, a video looking back on Riko and Reg's journey has been released to mark the announcement.

Based on Akihito Tsukushi’s manga of the same name, Made in Abyss follows a young girl named Riko and her robot friend Reg as they explore a mysterious hole in the ground known as the Abyss.

The first season aired in 2017, with a second season titled Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun following in 2022.
