The cast and staff have been revealed for the live action Hollywood film adaptation of Saint Seiya!
Titled Knights of the Zodiac, the film is inspired by Masami Kurumada's popular fantasy manga, which follows orphan boy Seiya on a quest to find his long-lost sister, during which he meets the mysterious Saori.
Mackenyu Arata ( Rurouni Kenshin: The Final ) will play the leading role of Seiya alongside Sean Bean, Madison Iseman, Diego Tinoco, Mark Dacascos, Nick Stahl, and Famke Janssen.
Tomasz Baginski is directing the film with a script by Josh Campbell and Matt Stuecken, and stunt and fight co-ordination by Andy Cheng.
Filming took place in Hungary and Croatia. The film will be distributed in Japan by Toei Animation, while Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions will handle territories outside of China and the Middle East.
