Through the wonder of blockchain technology provided by Japanese company Anique, you'll soon be able to say that you're the sole owner of a unique pop culture-inspired art piece!
Centered around Isayama Hajime's hit series Attack on Titan, the first artworks to be offered will give fans the opportunity to stake their claim on fan favorites Eren, Levi, and Mikasa.
In addition to being the sole owner of a unique piece, you can opt to have it printed in the form of traditional cel art. Although it requires an extra fee, it will come framed and ready to hang with a serial number and signature.
The owner of the artwork also has full control as to who can they can pass it on to through the Anique platform. The new owner will compensate the old, but a part of the fee will be passed on to the original creators to help fund their next projects.
There is only one of each piece of each artwork available, with the right to purchase to be decided by lottery. Applications are open now and close May 20 at 12:00 pm (JST).
