fourfolium to Sing New Game!! Season 2 Main Theme

fourfolium, a group featuring the four main voice actresses from the anime, will sing the opening and ending themes for the second season of New Game!! when it begins broadcasts this July.

Adding an additional exclamation mark, New Game!! is the second season of the New Game! TV anime which is adapted from a four panel gag manga serialised in Manga Time Kirara Carat. The anime charts the personal growth of main character Suzukaze Aoba after she joins the game studio Eagle Jump.

Both the opening theme "STEP by STEP UP↑↑↑↑” and ending theme “JUMPin' JUMP UP!!!!” for the upcoming second season will be performed by fourfolium - a group featuring the four main characters and voice actresses from the show including Suzukaze Aoba (CV: Takada Yuki), Takimoto Hifumi (CV: Yamaguchi Megumi), Shinoda Hajime (CV: Toda Megumi), and Iijima Yun (CV: Takeo Ayumi).

A CD single featuring the opening and ending themes will be released on July 26 which will be followed by a series of character song CDs arriving on Aug. 23 beginning with Vol. 1 - Suzukaze Aoba (CV: Takada Yuki) and Yagami Ko (CV: Hikasa Yoko), and Vol. 2 - Takimoto Hifumi (Yamaguchi Megumi), Iijima Yun (CV: Takeo Ayumi), and Toyama Rin (Kayano Ai). Volumes three and four will follow on Sept. 27 with Vol. 3 featuring Shinoda Hajime (CV: Toda Megumi), Sakura Nene (CV: Asahina Madoka), Ahagon Umiko (CV: Morinaga Chitose), and vol. 4 Iijima Yun (CV: Takeo Ayumi), Mozuku, and Hazuki Shizuko (CV: Kitamura Eri).
