Bandai is adding the 4-pen set, 3D Dream Arts Pen: Food Sample Set (5,184 yen after 8% tax), to their 3D Dream Arts Pen series this April!
The 3D Dream Arts Pens use exclusive ink with special resin made up of mostly acrylic that allows users to make anything they can imagine in 3D, and more than 400 thousand have been sold since their release in Nov. 2015. The possibilities are better seen than explained, so here are a few to give you a better idea!
The new Food Sample Set includes 4 pens designed to help you make around 20 realistic food samples like hamburgers, ramen, curry, and desserts.
The set includes yellow, green, white, and red pens, as well as a light, design sheet, three bowls, three spoons, 30 printed parts, and a tracing sheet. You’ll also be given “recipes” for mixing colors to create different shades of brown you might want!
Once mixed, you can make delicious-looking and perfectly colored curry. (｡♥‿♥｡)
Not confident in your drawing ability? The tracing sheet will help you make perfect designs!
The printed designs (like the shrimp featured below!~) will let you create food with the right texture such as sesame seed hamburger buns.
What you really wanna see are the finished products though, right? Prepare yourself for some incredible creations!
