Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry Reveals Main Visual and Release Date

Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry Reveals Main Visual and Release Date

It feels like ages since Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry, the 2nd Fairy Tail movie, was announced back in December, but things are starting to get serious! There have been two major developments: the official site was updated on Feb. 22, and we finally have a release date!

The site currently only has news and an introduction to Fairy Tail up, but more details will be released in the coming weeks including the story, characters, and staff. The main page has an amazing illustration of Natsu looking aggressive and ready for battle, and it features a tag reading Kibou ka Hakai ka, meaning “Hope or Destruction.”

As for the release date, the updated site revealed that the movie will begin showing in Japan on May 6. It may still seem like little information, but we've got plenty of time to look forward to the teasers and trailers that will be put out!
