Universal Studios Japan’s hugely popular Universal Cool Japan will be opening its 2017 exhibition from Dec. 16, 2016 through June 25, 2017! This epic event that uses the creative powers only available from Universal Studios Japan is popular among people all over the world and creates attractions in massive scale allowing you to truly experience Japan’s coolest entertainment brands.
Godzilla: The Real 4D and Sengoku: The Real at Osaka Castle were only recently announced. In addition to those, Universal Cool Japan 2017 will also feature the Evangelion series, loved by many for its unique world and story, and Attack on Titan, earning incredible popularity for its unforgettable characters and terrifying story about Titans.
Evangelion began airing in 1995 and became a social phenomenon. Even now, 20 years later, it grows only more popular, and it will be making its first appearance as a ride and attraction in the form of the Evangelion XR Ride. Guests will experience the world of Evangelion on this ride in 360 degrees as they flee at high speeds from an attacking giant Angel.
Also making an appearance is Attack on Titan. This series has sold more than 60 million copies, earning it a high place among New York Times’ best sellers. Made bigger and better than ever, Attack on Titan: The Real 4D 2 will bring the series’ representative 60-meter Colossal Titan in front of the guests as a battle unfolds.
Universal Cool Japan creates attractions which gives guests a chance to experience Japan’s cool entertainment brands. Its third iteration will continue that tradition, bringing even more new events.
