Experience the World of Gainax Anime Like No Other Cosplay Photo Studio Can Recreate!
Cosplay is the art of dressing up to become your favourite anime and gaming characters. There are around 340,000 cosplayers in Japan 2, but recently the artform has become popular across the world as an element of Japanese pop culture.
Ookaze no Okurusama have collaborated with Gainax in a world first 1 to create a cosplay photo studio in Akiba which will hopefully help fans from around the world experience this internationally popular pop culture movement. In the studio you can have your photo taken in several different environments thanks to the 3D art backgrounds and floors, white backdrop or black backdrop and even add a little fake blood too.
Ookaze aims to provide an experience you can’t get at any other photo studio, perfectly recreating the environment from the source material so you can truly become your favourite character.
A Photo Studio Like No Other!
This is a new kind of photo studio in which you can create the kind of photos you can’t find anywhere else thanks to the trick photography which fully recreates the environment from the original anime or manga.
Plenty of Different Environments Available
Classrooms, Japanese-style rooms, 3D art, white backdrops with fake blood, black backdrops with smoke - there is a huge variety of different settings available in the studio.
Realistic Settings and Wide Range of Props
The studio boasts a fully equipped dressing room with a makeup chair and mirror (male changing room capacity: 4; female changing room capacity: 18) plus the different kinds of setups including the black backdrop you can use with smoke effects. It’s almost like you were going to a theme park!
