The Karasuno High visual is incredibly fun to compare with the characters’ original appearances, as well as for enjoying the reappearance of the original cast! Kenma Kozume appears in the new visual of Nekoma High. The brain of the team with sharp eyes, he will be played by the talented acrobat and energetic Takato Nagata. Nekoma’s captain and Kenma’s childhood friend Tetsuro Kuroo will be played by Shori Kondo. Kondo has volleyball experience from high school and plays a major role in this performance.

Takanobu Aone, the strongest blocker in Miyagi Prefecture and a member of Date Tech High, known for its Iron Wall, will be played by Sho Arai. The other piece to their Iron Wall alongside Aone and problematic child, Kenji Futakuchi, will be played by Atsushi Kimura, known for a number of other play and film roles. Tokonami High’s ace spiker Hayato Ikejiri faces off against Karasuno High captain Sawamura, whom he played alongside in junior high, in the Inter High Miyagi Prefecture First Preliminary Match, and will be played by the newcomer Hiro Matsuda.

Continuing from the first performance, Aobajousai High’s team captain and the senpai of Karasuno’s genius player Tobio Kageyama, Toru Oikawa, will be played by the captivating and high-jumping Kosuke Asuma.
All 29 actors have now been announced, and Hyper Production Engeki Haikyu!!: Karasuno, Fukkatsu! will be huge as it goes on tour to Tokyo, Osaka, Iwate, Fukuoka, and then back to Tokyo. The crows will be taking on a new play this fall!

Comments were also released from members of the four schools!

Takato Nagata (Nekoma High’s Kenma Kozume)
“I’m Takato Nagata, and I’ll be playing Kenma Kozume. I still can’t forget how exciting seeing Hyper Production Engeki Haikyu!! was! I’m so excited to be a part of such a great work! I thought from the start that we shared that quality of studying, but as I’ve continued to learn more, I’ve found more common traits and am more pumped than ever for this performance! I’ll do my best to bring something new to Hyper Production Engeki Haikyu!! as Kenma Kozume!!”

Sho Arai (Date Tech High’s Takanobu Aone)
“Nice to meet you! I’m Sho Arai, and I’ll be playing Takanobu Aone of Date Tech High. A year ago, I was reading about the cast of Hyper Production Engeki Haikyu!! in Weekly Shonen Jump with envy. I remember wishing there was a Date Tech role. I get more self-conscious day by day at the thought that I’ll be playing a real-life Aone. I’m going to put everything I have into becoming an iron wall against everyone in Karasuno High, including Suga, who plays Hinata. I hope I’ll have your support! See you there!”

Hiro Matsuda (Tokonami High’s Hayato Ikejiri)
“I’m Hiro Matsuda, and I’ll be playing the role of Hayato Ikejiri. It’s no simple feat to win in the competitive world, and I think it comes with regrets and troubles. I’ll try my best to play Ikejiri, who believes in his own abilities and moves forward. I hope that many people will get to enjoy how wonderful and helpful the cast and staff of Hyper Production Engeki Haikyu!! are, and I hope everyone will cheer us on!”

Kosuke Asuma (Aobajousai High’s Toru Oikawa)
“I’m Kosuke Asuma, and I play Toru Oikawa. I’m happy to be brought on once again to play Oikawa. Seijo is only represented by Iwa-chan and myself, but I hope we’ll still be able to express the existence of the team. I hope I’ll be able to take advantage of that strength gained from volleyball club activities, practice, and training.
