On June 23, the official site for Geisha Tokyo Entertainment Inc.’s new puzzle and strategy battle game Puzzle of Empires opened along with its closed beta test.
■ Puzzle of Empires Highlights
**A new style of game which pairs puzzles with strategic battles**
*Puzzle of Empires* features real-time 5v5 battles on a quarter view battlefield where players take on the role of military commanders. Each commander wields a weapon aside from a sword, spear, or bow. It includes a three match puzzle factor where you can attack if you assemble three soldiers of the same color, as well as a highly strategic military commander deployment element for an unprecedented style of game.
Motions interwoven with 3D characters and flashy effects
There are 50 military commanders who have been turned into beautiful girls, each holding original skills including attack-, defense-, and recovery-based ones. They all make use of 3D with cute and cool animations, and have flashy effects in battles. As you train your commanders, battles become increasingly fun.
Beautiful card graphics, incredible voice actress lineup, unique world
Talented illustrators have been brought on for character illustrations along with wonderful voice actresses, giving the game a unique style with famous historical commanders reborn as school girls. You have to hear the way these voice actresses have brought out each character’s nature (air-headed, cool, tsundere, mature, childish, or maternal) as well as their dialects.
