The first trailer for the upcoming original sequel to Death Note titled Death Note Light up the NEW world has been released. Set in the world ten years after the famous L v.s. Kira battle of wits, the world is now sent into catastrophe with the appearance of six volumes of Death Notes...
As we had previously reported, the movie will be released in Japan on October 29, 2016, starring Higashide Masahiro as the inspector, Ikematsu Sosuke as Ryuzaki (the new "L"), and Suda Masaki as Shien (the new "Kira"), while Toda Erika reprises her wole as Amane Misa. The movie is directed by Sato Shinsuke of GANTZ and Library War fame.
