Popular manga and anime series Fullmetal Alchemist will return to fans in the form of a live action movie! Serialized from 2001 to 2010, the manga was adapted into two anime series, the most recent of which, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, ended with the manga in 2010. Praised as one of Arakawa Hiromu's best works and considered one of the most iconic works in the recent decades, this classic is coming back to us!
Slated for summer 2017, the live action movie will star in its lead role Edward Elric Yamada Ryosuke from the popular idol group Hey!Say!JUMP. Yamada has also recently starred as the protagonist of the live action adaptation of hit shounen manga series Assassination Classroom.
