The Japan-wide anisong dance battle Akiba Street sponsored by Nakano City ended just the other day, and RAB (Real Akiba Boyz), well-known pioneers of anisong dance, dazzled crowds as the vanguards of a new culture mixing anime songs and dancing.
Since this summer, they’ve performed at such famous big stages as:
“Ichigo Presents Gochi Desu!” at Akasaka Blitz
“Exit Tunes Academy” at Nippon Budokan
“Niconico Cho Party” at Saitama Super Arena
“Moshi Moshi Nippon” at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium
RAB have finally been invited to the big stages in the world of anisong! On Nov. 21, they performed at Animax Musix held at the Yokohama Arena, where they were the first dance artists in history to perform at a live concert for anime music and fired up the entire venue!
And it’s even been announced that they’ll be performing at Anime Festival Asia to be held in Singapore...
