“Boruto: Naruto the Movie” Special Trailer Posted!

The culmination of the Naruto New Era Opening Project, the movie Boruto: Naruto the Movie will hit theaters Japan-wide on Aug. 7. Ahead of this, a special trailer titled “Uketsugareru Michi” (The Path that is Inherited) has been posted. This special trailer was shown at the screening of the completed movie on July 28, and it had everyone in the audience in tears.

The visuals of the trailer are backed by the theme song “Diver” sung by Kana-Boon, and comments from fans are shown overlaying famous scenes from the manga and the movie. Part way through the trailer, a comment is also shown from series creator Masashi Kishimoto who is acting as executive producer on the movie.

“With the serialization concluded, I’ve poured all of the time I’ve spent on the manga until now into this movie. It is truly the Naruto movie I’ve wanted to make. And one last thing…
