The broadcast dates and times of the new summer 2015 TV anime Prison School have been confirmed. The anime will be on-air beginning July 11 on Tokyo MX and other networks. Archive streaming has also begun for the Prison School production press conference held on May 27. The comments from the cast members are a pivotal highlight.
The first broadcast of Prison School will be at 1:05 a.m. on Saturday, July 101on Tokyo MX. Following this, it will be available to enjoy all across the country on KBS Kyoto and TV Aichi on July 12, and Sun TV, BS11, and AT-X on July 13. Streaming will begin at 12:00 p.m. on July 12. It will be available on J:Com on Demand, Hikari TV, Niconico, Tsutaya TV, U-Next, Rakuten Showtime, Bandai Channel, Amazon Instant Video, Google Play, and PlayStation Video.
Guests at the Prison School production press conference include HIroshi Kamiya (Kiyoshi), Katsuyuki Konishi (Gakuto), Kenichi Suzumura (Shingo), Daisuke Namikawa (Joji), and Kazuyuki Okitsu (Andre). A colorful discussion ensues between the members who all wear matching prison uniforms. Since the event was held midday on May 27, there are likely many fans who missed out on it. For those fans, this archive streaming is definitely good news. The video will be available to stream for roughly one month, so make sure to check out the cast’s enthusiasm for the broadcast.
Prison School by Akira Hiramoto began serialization in Young Magazine in 2011. It’s a school jailbreak comedy that has over 5.5 million copies in print. Directing the anime is Tsutomu Mizushima of Shirobako. Other well-known staff members who have teamed up for the anime include series composer Michiko Yokote and character designer/chief animation director Junichiro Taniguchi.
