Welcome back to our Japanese fashion blog! We’re thrilled to be able to give you an early look at our newest LIZ LISA item, a special Lucky Bag (fukubukuro) that just debuted in Japan this month.

We went to TOM’s warehouse on the outskirts of Tokyo to help prepare these beautiful sets for you!
Although “fukubukuro” is usually translated as Lucky Bag, this is no mere bag. It’s a lovely LIZ LISA rolling luggage, the perfect size for carrying on an airplane. Plus, many Japanese fashionistas use cute suitcases like these to haul around their purchases when they go on big shopping sprees.
And of course, the luggage comes filled with super-pretty LIZ LISA garments!
Each Lucky Bag contains a light pink dress and a soft knit cardigan. But there are several different dresses and cardigans available, so the exact combination of items you receive will be a surprise. That’s the fun part of getting a fukubukuro!
We got really excited when we saw the Lucky Bag contents. We personally packed each Lucky Bag, so we can say with confidence that all of the items are beautifully designed, including the luggage used to hold them. Plus, like any good Lucky Bag, it’s an astonishing deal--the contents are worth much more than the set price!
We’re so thankful to all the LIZ LISA fans out there who have written to us requesting more Japanese fashion. We couldn’t be happier to be able to bring you this gorgeous Lucky Bag!
In just a few days from now, you’ll be able to visit the Lucky Bag product page and see detailed photographs of some of the clothing that could be included. None of the items in this Lucky Bag have ever been sold on TOM before, so there’s no risk of receiving a LIZ LISA garment you’ve already bought from us in the past.
